Congratulations to Miranda Billman and Miranda Cruz for advancing to the Regional Cross Country meet that will be held on Saturday, October 27th in Tiffin.
Middle school student council will meet at 7:40 tomorrow (Tuesday) morning in Mrs. Berg's room.
There will be open work sessions for both Middle School and High School yearbook on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:30-3:30 for anyone that can attend.
Any boy interested in junior high boys basketball needs to sign up in Student Services. An open gym schedule will be coming soon.
The first blood drive of the year is next Wednesday, October 24. If you are 16 years or older, you can help save 3 persons with your donation! Each donor will receive a free t-shirt and be served a Hawaiian luau style lunch featuring shredded BBQ. Please sign up to donate in any of the following teachers classrooms: Mr. Gravenhorst, Mrs. Wurzel, Mr. Gluth, Mrs Meyers, Mr. Zuk, or Mrs. Bonnigson.
Sophomores: On Thursday, November 8th, the sophomore class will be traveling to EHOVE Career Center for a tour of the school and grounds. The buses will leave around 8:40 a.m. and return around 1:30 p.m. Please dress accordingly for the weather on that day since some of the tour will be outside.
Middle School/High School Fall Picture Re-take Day is Tuesday, November 6th. Re-take order forms are available on the counter in the Main Office or from Mrs. Meyers in Room 212.
Happy Socktober! It’s that time of year again! Throughout the month of October, Margaretta schools will be collecting new socks to donate to the homeless and Project Share of Castalia. Please bring in your new socks or monetary donation to be used to purchase socks. All socks can be dropped off in the bins available in the Main Office and Student Services. All monetary donations should be brought to the Main Office. Every pair and dollar helps!
AAA Ohio Auto Club is offering high school seniors the opportunity to apply for the AAA School Safety Patrol $1,000 Grant. The scholarship is limited to seniors who once served as a member of the AAA School Safety Patrol. See the Student Services/Guidance Office for more information.
The Erie County Community Foundation is offering The Buckeye Broadband BCSN Scholar of the Month. Six scholars will be chosen throughout the academic year. One student will be chosen each month. Applications will be submitted by the school counselor. BCSN will film a 30-second film on "the day in the life of" the student and will be aired on the Buckeye Broadband channels regularly during the month. Stop by the Student Services office for an application.
