Mandatory Washington DC meeting for all 8th graders & at least one parent or guardian wanting to go. Meeting is today in the high school gym from 7-8. We will go over fundraisers, trip and students expectations while in DC. This is our only meeting regarding the trip so it is very important that everyone attends. NHS candidates: Your Activity Form and letter of reference are due by Friday September 21. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Bonnigson in room 118.

HOMECOMING TICKET SALES
To purchase a homecoming ticket you must have your school fees paid. Tickets will be on sale September 17-21 before and after school in the office or with Mrs. Szymanski and during lunch. The cost is $10 per person or $15 per couple.

SENIORS:
The Elks National Foundation is offering the Most Valuable Student Scholarship.To apply you can go online to enf.elks.org/mvs and to get complete details.

Terra State Community College will be holding a college night on Monday, October 1st from 6 p.m - 7:30 p.m. More than 70 college and university representatives will be in attendance to answer your questions.

On Wednesday, September 26th there will be a senior meeting in the cafeteria during 11th period. You will receive information on applying for college, financial aid, scholarship procedures and lots of other important information. Please sign up to attend in the Student Services Office.

Beginning next week we will have college representatives visiting to talk with you about their schools. Below is a list of dates and times when they will be here. If you would like to attend their presentation, stop by student services and see Mrs. Cullen to sign up. Each visit will last one period and you will be excused from class for that period. Sign up ONLY if you are interested in that college.
